One Day at Carleton Place and Almonte
One weekend in August 2025, two friends and I visited Carleton Place and Almonte. I photographed the streets and places we passed along the way. Both towns felt calm, and the afternoon seemed to move slowly. When I look at these photos, I remember the time we spent together as much as the places themselves. I am glad my friends were part of that day.

Selected Moments – A Personal Journey
These photos are from the past few years. I bought my first camera in 2019 and have carried one with me ever since. It has helped me keep a record of daily life in both China and Canada. This selection is only a small part of my work, but it shows how I see the people and places around me. I still carry a camera and plan to keep taking photos wherever I go.
Portrait Series - Chinatown@Ottawa 2024/06/14
This series features my friend Wenqun, a YouTube creator, in Ottawa's Chinatown. We took these photos on a bright summer day. Direct sunlight created strong areas of light and shadow, while the shade gave her face a softer look. I shot the series with a Ricoh GR III and used the changing light to give each photo its own feeling.
